Mish

"Well, I can here on a quest for knowledge, it is. I am not sure about what you meant saying "may be needed", but it is possible I am the one who needs you. As you saw, I was looking for someone to help me. Would you like to accompany me?"

Windy

"What does your quest aim to achieve? I cannot join a gnome wandering dilly dally. I also have some people I wish to meet..."

Nachr turns his head to look at Bestaba.

I also don't tend to travel in groups, if you excuse my speaking, as I seem to attract danger... though unintentionally.

Glunnator

Far north, Obsidian rumbles a sigh like only a rock troll can.
He is content with his simple life of rock-foraging and nature-observing, or was, at least.
Lately his slow mind had been wandering in new, unfamiliar directions. Sometimes he found himself thinking: "Dis all dere is?".
He clenched the crystalline silicon muscles in his hands, shook his head slowly as if to dislodge the alien thought, and set his mind to Listening again.

Mish

Bestaba gives out a sigh. As they get to the stable, he says "well then.
Thank you for the time. I will be in the inn by midnight, if u want to talk to me again." He walks into the stable and looks for his pony.

Windy

Nachr stands in front of the stable, with a clean plate in hand. He pauses briefly as he chews on the last bit of bread. His tail seems to droop slightly for a short while until the wind picks it up to bring it to a slow sway.

Giving a brief glance at the stable, Nachr turns around to return to the Inn. The centaur looks down the path, wondering when Fabrice will be back.

Mish

Bestaba goes into the room and checks his pony's cell. He asks the boy that takes care of the horses how does he treat the horses.

Mesmeratio

"Errrr.. as good as possible sir, I don't ever hear them complain much.. they get good food and fresh water.." the stable boy tells Bestaba, noticeably not used to being asked questions about taking care of horses.

At the square, Fabrice is seen looking around and talking to people. He seems to be nervous.

Windy

Nachr approaches Fabrice slowly, his footfall very audible in the night air. Click! Clack!, goes Nachr as his feet bounce off of the aged cobble.

After a brief look at the statue of ser Kerl <small>again</small>, Nachr calls to Fabrice.

Hey Fabrice, is everything alright over there? You seem to have taken quite a while... How's Ravaella and her cart?

Mish

Bestaba thanks the boy and goes out. He starts walking his way up the road, looking for the place of the map maker. He suddenly stops and walk the same speed as a rich guy, without making eye contact with him before this, and ask him where exactly is the map-maker's place.

Mesmeratio

Evening is falling. The skies are rather clear and the weather is cool, but not cold. The trees next to ser Kerl rustle in a light summer breeze. Some lamplighters are starting to do their duty.

The boy looks at Nachr, and becomes really nervous now "Sir! Sir! I asked around but I can't find the old lady with the cart. I asked people where she lived but no-one knows.."

The rich-looking merchant looks at Bestaba for a moment, lifts an eyebrow and in a curt manner says "What irony. The house with the telescope and balloon." And he walks on without waiting for a response.

Mish

Bestaba looks up and sees those features the rich guy told him about on one of the buildings. He enters the map-maker's shop.

Daemon

Talon looks over in the direction where, if he remembers correctly, Brookton lies. He wonders if the town that abandoned him long ago has grown into something worth protecting. Then he remembers the church, scowls and shakes his head dismissively.
Looking back to the druid, he asks, "So you've seen them then? When?"

Mesmeratio

The mapmaker's is a pretty large round building, with a telescope on top. It's blue roof is a bit crooked. It has a docking station with a blue-green-and-pink butterfly patterned air-balloon (do mind, your characters are probably not familiar with the terms). The building stand adjacent to the Engineer's building, and on parts it touches it.

Inside the building, the store is painted like a starry night sky. Posters and drawings of pixies and other fey creatures are taped to the walls. Little pixie-figurines are stocked on every shelf. Huge tomes about fey-creatures lie on the counter. There are baskets with rolled up maps scattered around the shop. At the back of the shop, there's a huge glass-and-brass cage with butterflies in. A music box is playing.

The shop owner, dressed in nothing but green leather pants, a green jester hat and something resembling butterfly wings on his back, sits in the middle of his store on the floor with crayons, a large tome and some paper sheets. He looks up as Bestaba enters the shop, stares at him with wide eyes and asks in an odd manner "Feeeey?".

Mesmeratio

The old druid looks at Talon a bit worried.

"In that town, there is nothing for you, the church still reigns with fierce hand. As for the witch and witchkid.. I have not seen them, I only know what the animals tell me. The witchkid they haven't seen for moons now. As for the witch, I don't know where she is other than that she lives to the south."

Daemon

"How do you know the activities of the undead in the marshes? I wouldn't have thought beast nor man would want to venture there..."

Mish

"I would like to purchase a map of the city and it's surrounding my dear mapmaker" says Bestaba, trying (with success probably) to disguise his interest of the mapmaker's habits as a man's interests are his and his alone down at the south.

Mesmeratio

"Our hawks can soar above the marshes, and the mice sometimes spy in those regions. But these undead are nothing to be worried of. The cityfolk are way more dangerous, not to mention those blasted dwarves and their factory.."

The mapmaker seems way too fascinated by the creature of fey origin that just stepped inside his shop to respond.

Mish

Bestaba looks. His eyes get a bit more open (just a bit) and he is thinking hard for a hole long second, that for him feels like eternity. Not too much facial movement can be seen, but it is visible he is a bit... surprised probably, though one can't tell for sure.

Mesmeratio

The mapmaker comes closer and asks again, this time more jovially: "Feeeeeeeey?!".

Mish

Bestaba says "I will come later" , turns around and exits. He heads to the Guild of Mages.
