Setting:

- The church is the dominant factor in this world, although divided in factions and rivalling eachother in power.
- High fantasy. Though magic is rare and strictly regulated by the church, as the church believes mages are responsible for the departure of the Great Eagle, the God of Wind.
- There *is* a little Steampunk, though only dwarves are known to have any sort of real machinery.
- We will make up more as we go. Feel free to add an island from where you hail or a river you once met a nymph, if you're into that sort of stuff.

Rules:

1. Be a gent or get a sudden arrow in the vent, pick one. This includes no powerplaying (no declaring another player's actions, or NPC's actions)
2. 3.5e rules.
3. In case of absence, give a good RP-reason in-game. 14 days (2 weeks) of unreported absence means you're completely content with nasty stuff happening to your character. And when I say nasty stuff, I do mean nasty stuff:
4. Flavour and RP are more important than rules, but I'd like you guys filling in some sort of character sheet and sending them to me.
5. You can join at any time, and leave at any time.


Character creation:

1. We use point buy (28) : http://fireburnb14n.page.tl/Point-Buy-Calculator.htm USE THIS
For example use: 18/14/10/10/10/8 or 18/12/12/10/10/8 (distribute to any stat you like, this is excluding racial modifiers etc.)
8 = 0 points
10 = 2 points
12= 4 points
14 = 6 points
16 = 10 points
18 = 16 points
That's how it works.
2. I'm not really strict with race/class picking, but try to keep things realistic. Power-hoarding will result in sudden and unexplainable ice titans.
3. You start at level one, unless the rest of the party is a higher level.
4. Please post your character description/stats below.
5. Please send me a PM with details not obvious at first glance (background and a list of items!)

    Made a homebrew Centaur race as not to unbalance things.

    +2str (due to horse str)
    -2cha (due to half/half appearance, which is kind of scary)

    Proficient with simple weapons, longswords & all longbows.
    Large size, and all bonuses/penalties regarding that (able to use larger weapons, which cause more damage, but -1ac, as you're easier to hit, and -1ab against medium creatures, as they are harder to hit for you. A penalty to hide, unless you're in a forest.)
    You count as part heavy warhorse. Therefore you can move at 50ft (10 squares).
    Unable to use conventional armor, it need to be both large and light, as heavy armor is especially cumbersome due to your shape.

    Skill bonuses:

    Survival +2
    Search +2
    Knowledge nature +2
    Intimidate +2
    Climb - 4
    Hide - 4, unless in a natural environment, then it's +2
    Swim -2

    Houserule regarding amount of gp: "everyone starts with 50gp and their inventory, unless you're a rock troll or something"

    Description:
    Sgern is a rather sneaky, deceitful and a troublemaking reptilian. Being a reptilian allows Sgern to know its surroundings very well. He has a cold blood, though, which decreases all of his stats by 1 if he isn't at a desired and comfortable temperature.

    Huzzah! A rogue!

    I think you did well, have to look up the 'reptilian race', dunno much about it. Other than that, as a rogue you have to invest (8 + intmod) x 4 in skills, which in your case is 36 skill points in your class skills with a maximum of 4 points in each skill.
