Jika anda dan keluarga sedang dihampiri penyakit langganan yaitu demam, maka yang anda pikirkan bagaimana mengantisipasinya dengan perlakuan yang alami secepat mungkin. Padahal, demam memiliki manfaat tersendiri bagi tubuh yang diyakini dapat menstimulasi sistem kekebalan tubuh dan dapat pula membunuh agen penginfeksi. Jadi sebelum memberikan obat demam, alangkah baiknya anda membiarkan sistem tersebut berjalan secara normal tetapi tidak mengganggu aktifitas anda dalam bekerja di kantor, belajar di sekolah atau bersih-bersih di halaman rumah anda.

Tetapi yang juga anda harus pertimbangkan, suhu tubuh yang biasa bisa dibiarkan untuk dipertahankan keadaan demam tersebut, namun jika suhu tubuh terus meningkat segera lakukan tindakan medis. Karena jika terlam bat anda melakukan semua itu kesempatan anda untuk sembuh kemungkinan sangat kecil, dikarenakan saraf-saraf dalam otak tidak berjalan sesuai dengan fungsinya.

Tapi anda jangan dulu merasa hawatir yang berlebihan, karena secara alami pun bisa saja demam pada anak anda misalnya, bisa turun seketika dan sistem imunitas dalam tubuh tetap berjalan dengan semestinya.

Diantaranya sebagai berikut :
1. Merendam tubuh dalam dalam air hangat atau suam-suam kuku
Jika anda demam, cobalah dengan merendam tubuh anda di air hangat atau suam-suam kuku dengan sambil memperhatikan keadaan air yang nantinya menjadi dingin. Biasanya jika air perlahan menjadi dingin, tubuh pun mengikuti arahan air sehingga badan anda pun ikut dingin. Dan jangan sekali-kali anda berendam dalam air dingin apalagi air es ketika anda sedang demam.

2. Gunakan handuk basah sebagai perat anda
Lakukan haltersebut dengan minta bantuan sebagian keluarga anda untuk menyiapkan handuk dengan semangkuk air hangat. Kemudian basuh handuk dengan air tersebut lalu tempelkan dibagian kening kepala anda atau disambungkan di leher depan sampai ke bagian punduk belakang. Nantinya handuk mulai perlahan-lahan menjadi dingin dan suhu tubuh pun menurun sedikit demi sedikit, lakukan hal tersebut dengan senyaman mungkin.

Cara itulah yang mungkin dapat memberikan keamanan bagi anda dalam mengantisipasi demam yang secara mendadak menyapa anda dan keluarga, jadi jangan dulu lakukan tindakan memberi obat demam terbaik untuk anak ketika suhu tubuh sedang panas, tetapi lakukan hal-hal yang alami terlebih dahulu.
